Ephrem and Gemmet fall in love and have a daughter. Tragedy hit the family and Ephrem must to find a way to save his daughter’s life.
Ephrem – a professional photographer – meets Gemmet during an assignment and a love story unfolds between the two. It is not before long that a beautiful girl is born and everything seems bright, until an accident changes everything. 

With a film budget out of the ordinary, young Ethiopian businessman cum filmmaker Zelalem Woldemariam (who later was selected to the prestigious Focus Features Africa First short film program) has made a drama, which talks about problems that many Ethiopian can relate to. 

In addition to attracting huge audiences in Ethiopia and the United States, The 11th Hour has also won international acclaimed and has screened at film festivals across the world.
