When a son realizes he can’t trust his father’s best friend with his widowed mother he decides to return home.
When Ousmane’s father dies, the family asks Ablaye, the old man’s best friend to marry their widowed mother in order to make sure that she is taken care of. When the man, who is already married, accepts to take his former friend’s wife as his third spouse, the siblings are relieved, that is until the day the money Ousmane sends to his stepfather goes missing.
