33rd edition from July 19 to 29, 2012.

From 19 to 29, July 2012, the big city of KwaZulu-Natal will celebrate 33rd edition of the Durban International Film Festival. This meeting is one of the most prestigious film events of Africa continent like the Cannes Film Festival.

290 films are expected to this event among which many South African and worldwide productions. Screenings will be held across the city and in townships where film activities is nearly inexistent.

The Durban meeting which brings together the cream of African cinema also is an opportunity for training and exchanges on the issue of stimulating the film industry. This event is organized by the "Center of Creative Arts"
