Vuks Ngcingwana is a highly enthusiastic and passionate filmmaker from a small town in the Eastern Cape. His passion for acting and filmmaking in general started in the early stages of primary school, where he used to imitate his action heroes in his backyard.

In 2003 he got his first leading role in a school play. The rest is history. In 2006 he graduated from the one year Extensive Acting Program at The New York Film Academy, Universal Studio and further did a NQF Level 4 Stunt Training and Business Course. He has since worked as an actor on various features, plays and TV programs. In 2008 he ventured into producing receiving mentorship from Two Oceans Productions. Through the Pistoleros Mentorship initiative he has produced two short films. He recently participated in a SABC 1’s toughest film audition Class Act and was awarded 4th place on the reality show. In his spare time he also mentors disadvantaged filmmakers from the Eastern Cape.

In January 2012 Vuks was Line Producer on the Irish Feature film The Good Man. In April 2012 the short film The Bible that Vuks produced won the best Production award at the DSTV short film awards.
