Artist nd Director (South Africa)

Born in 1947 in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, Gavin Younge is both director and professor of the Michaelis School of Fine Arts in Cape Town. He is also a talented Film-maker and author internationally recognized. Marked by his political commitment in the struggle against apartheid, his sculptures and installations speak of a South Africa changing and the consequences of political violence on a society.
