As an actress in theater and films, Naky Sy Savane worked with major African filmmakers. She started her career very young with "Bal Poussière" of Henri Duparc. Alongside her acting career, Naky actively campaigning to improve access to education and empowerment of women. Since the death of Katoucha Niane, Naky sy became the most anti excision activist in France.

The actress regularly conducts also activities in Ivory coast for the most disadvantaged. She founded Afriki Djigui Theatre, a structure that promotes African culture through theater, dance, storytelling, music or visual arts.

In 1994 she won two awards for Best Actress, one at Vues d'Afrique festival in Montreal, the other Kouriba festival in Morocco for her role "Au nom du Christ" by Roger Gnoan M'Bala. In 1998, She won the prize for best actress Kilimanjaro with the play "Quiproquo" and in 1999 with the film "La jumelle", she won the "price UNICEF" at Fespaco.
