Director (Ivory Coast)

Pierre-Marie SINDO aka Piña was born in June 19, 1985 at Abidjan (Ivory Coast). Attracted by animation film, he begun a training at the National School of Arts of Abidjan and then obtained the DEAG-AP (General artistic study in visual art Degree).

In November 2007, he created the SINANIMATION studio with his brothers and friends. When he was 22, he participated to the FICA 2008 (International Short Film Festival of Abidjan) where his cartoon FOOT'IVOIRE won the "10th anniversary Special Prize", then Piña became the youngest winner of the festival since its creation.

In 2009, he obtained also a certificate after his professional training in filmmaking at Ciné cours, a School of Film and Television in Quebec. For the first time in December 2010, the animated series "C Kéma”, directed by Piña and produced by SINANIMATION studio is broadcast on TV5.
