Director, Actress and Scriptwriter (France)
The daughter of a colonial administrator, Claire Denis grew up in Africa (Cameroon, Burkina Faso and Djibouti). After her studies at IDHEC she became assistant director and then her many experiences led her to write and direct her first film very autobiographical, "Chocolat".
