Director, scénarist (France,Cameroon)

Guillaume de Ginestel was born in 1977. Son of a manufacturer of chocolate globetrotter who infuses her love of travel and a journalist mother who infuses her love of reading and books, he spent a part of his childhood in Cameroon and the United States, in the suburbs of Philadelphia, before returning to France at the end of his adolescence.

After studying mathematics , he began writing an audiovisual training EAEC (European Audiovisual Writing Conservatory ) and written and directed his first documentary 52mn intitulé “Les brumes du Manengouba” about the Cameroon of his childhood.
Broadcast on television in France and abroad , the film is also selected and awarded in several international festivals. In 2008, with “Teleformation” , he won the prize of best screenplay contest Scenarios Short Film Festival Open Air Grenoble, and realizes the first chiaroscuro short film with support from the Research Group and Cinematographic trials ( GREC ) in Paris .
