Producer, Director (Haïti)

Born in 1961 in Port -au- Prince, Haiti , Rachèle Magloire grew up in Montreal . Back in Haiti in 1987 , and graduated in communication , she worked as a reporter for private television and has written for Haiti " Haiti en Marche " , a weekly newspaper published in Miami. From 1991 to 1995 , Rachèle Magloire was the correspond of the daily La Presse and Le Devoir.
Since 1995, she made ​​documentaries in Fanal Productions, a film production company founded with the cinematographer and director Carl Lafontant . Between 2002 and 2004 , she worked in the Democratic Republic of Congo for Radio Okapi, a national radio station founded by the UN in collaboration with Fondation Hirondelle for freedom of expression.

In February 2004, she was back in Haiti and resumed his work as a director / producer with Fanal Productions . At the end of 2006, she co-directed a documentary whith Chantal Regnault about legal Haitian immigrants with criminal records who may be deported from the United States .
In 2011, Vues D'Afrique , a film festival awards in Montreal Rachèle and her sister Laurence Magloire, CIRTEF price for services rendered to humanity.
