Ntokozo Mahlalela is a Newtown Film&TV School graduate.In 2003 he produced his first short drama thesis film titled The Ticket, film about football as life changing and saving opportunity for young ghetto boys. Since that film he never looked back and in 2008 he produced a feature documentary film about the genesis of tribalism in South Africa titled Tribes and Clans, which it was well received at Encounters International Film Festival and Durban International Film Festival in 2009. Ntokozo's first encounter with media was in 1998 when he co-founded Barberton Community Radio Station as a producer and presenter. He resigned at the station in 2000 for studies in filmmaking.
