Nafi’s quest for a remedy for HIV makes her realize that the fight against the virus is a battle of life and death.
Nafi’s search for the miracle cure that will save her HIV-positive fiancé, takes her on a journey across Mali that makes her realize that not only is HIV a forever-present danger, but that young women like herself, with little say over their bodies and their lives, are among the most vulnerable to the disease due to forced marriages, and other dangerous cultural traditions that are even putting unborn babies at risk.

The second part of the progressive Malian TV-series, which follows Nafi’s awakening to the injustices perpetrated against her Malian sisters, is a captivating story about female solidarity and genuine girl power.
