Basic instructions to use AfricaFilms.tv Player
Step 1
Install the player with your computer connected to Internet.
During the installation process, the following module might be automatically installed :

Once installation is done, AfricaFilms.tv Player automatically opens a window that you need to complete typing the email address and password you used to open an account on our VOD platform.
Click "OK" to confirm your input.
In the case of a typing mistake, the identification window opens again
Step 3
Once the player is connected to your account, go to "My Downloads" : the movie list available for download is displayed.
Click the "Download" icon at the left of the movie title to launch its transfer to your computer.
If you buy or rent a movie on our site while the player is opened on your computer, click "Refresh" to see it appear in the downloadable movie list.
When a movie is available in several languages (audio and / or subtitles), all versions are presented in the list: choose the one you'd like download.
Step 4
Wait a few minutes for movie download to progress.
Step 5
Click the "Play" button on the viewing window next to the movie list.
Every first viewing (and only this one) needs a computer with Internet connection to validate the AfricaFilms.tv license.

Enjoy your movie !

When the movie download is complete, your movie will appear in "My movies" when you launch the player.
User information for playSmart DRM system on AfricaFilms.tv (herebelow called the Site)
The user acknowledges that he received information that the Site uses the playSmart DRM technology developed by OnlineLib. playSmart is 100% compatible with Adobe Access.
48H rental
The user is allowed to download once and only once the rented movie file with the AfricaFilms.tv Player software. This software with a valid Internet connection is needed to validate the playSmart DRM license for personal and non commercial use.
By clicking "OK" when first viewing the movie in the Player for license validation with the Site's servers, the user can watch the movie whenever he wants during a 48-hour period, this period starting as soon as the Site's servers validate the license. The validation process is done when the movie plays for the first time in the AfricaFilms.tv Player.
The playSmart DRM license is agreed for a single computer.
Apart for the DRM license validation process, the user doesn't need an Internet connection to view the movie.
Purchase
The user is allowed to download once and only once the purchased movie file via the AfricaFilms.tv Player software. This software with a valid Internet connection is needed to validate the playSmart DRM license for personal and non commercial use.
By clicking "OK" when first viewing the movie in the Player for license validation with the Site's servers, the user can watch the movie whenever he wants until December 31st 2099, this period starting as soon as the Site's servers validate the license. The validation process is done when the movie plays for the first time in the AfricaFilms.tv Player.
