Jason Hamutenya Ndadi « Wanahepo » was one of the founders of the Owambo People Organisation (OPO) in 1959. As one of the SWAPO (the South-West Africa People’s Organisation) leaders, he fought from 1966 to 1977 in liberation struggle against the South-African Apartheid. On 21 March 1990, Namibia won its Independence. But Wanahepo was killed in 1977 and buried in Lubango, Angola.
In this film his family and comrades give their personal impressions of « Wanahepo » as a leader, commander, husband, and father.

The film also portrays the emotional repatriation of Wanahepo’s remains to his final resting place and his reburial back home in Namibia.
