One day young and industrious Yaguine and Fodé decide to catch a plane to a brighter future. But safety measures are a luxury for those who cannot afford to buy a ticket.
Every plane that takes off from the airport in Conakry represents the longing for freedom and a better life that the young boys Yaguine and Fodé, are harbouring. Aware that their everyday hustle is taking them nowhere, they have given up on their own country and are convinced that happiness can only be found somewhere far, far away. The question is how to get there.

Based on true and tragic events, the director Gahité Fofana’s second feature film tells the story of two young boys who paid a dear price for their dream of having a better life with food on the table every day, the opportunity to realise their dreams and peace of mind. Before they leave Yaguine and Fodé pen a letter to the leaders of Europe, as if they knew that things would not turn out the way they planned.
