Omar Sy won a Cesar Award for Best Actor
The 37th ceremony of the Cesar took place on the last friday. Nominated in 13 categories, the film "Intouchable" finally won its only one César thanks to Omar Sy and his Best Actor award.
Through its 19 million sold tickets and a widely won over audience, "Intouchable" also managed to seduce the jury of the César. Thus, this was not much to our surprise but with a huge joy that we could witness the amazing Omar Sy's performance rewarded. This prize-giving will easily remain the most memorable of the ceremony, thanks to a moving and overexcited Omar Sy who could not help making again his famous dance step extracted from "Intouchable".
Omar Sy is now an essential part of the César history being the first awarded black actor to date.
